Top Causes of Autoimmune Disease and 3 Natural Tips for Reversing It
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) says up to 23.5 million Americans have an autoimmune disease. And, when you think about it, this is a staggering statistic when you consider that cancer affects up to 9 million and heart disease up to 22 million.
So, today in this video, Dr. Tom O’Bryan will talk about exactly what an autoimmune disease (AD) is and isn’t. This is the kind of information that you will never get from a conventionally-trained physician, especially within a 5 minute doctor visit.
The most common triggers of autoimmune disease
Dr. O’Bryan will outline many of the most common triggers for AD. Certain foods and toxins can trick your immune system into accidentally attacking you instead of the pathogen or protein. Find out what’s really going on inside your body – especially if you’re eating the wrong kind of food.
Why does it take so long to start experiencing symptoms from these seemingly innocent foods? Dr. O’Bryan covers that topic plus much more!
In truth, we’re more exposed to toxins than we ever have been so over time it accumulates in our body until eventually we become sensitive to many things. That’s why it’s so important to be more careful with the kind of food we’re eating – every day.
And, finally, he provides the “first steps” toward overcoming this terrible health condition. But, keep in mind, with a little effort you can get rid of the many unwanted symptoms associated with AD – without the need for toxic medications.

What happened to step number 3?
I thought the same thing.
Like the others commented what was step number three I suffer from a few autoimmune disorders as well as my child and I try so very hard to learn how to better our lives and therefore all the information given is muchly appreciated so thank you very much Amy Burgess
I have Hashimoto’s and am having trouble getting it into remission. It has been suggested to me that I should be tested for food sensitivities. I’m overwhelmed by the number of companies offering this service. Can you suggest or recommend one, two, or three different labs I can consider for this Important and expensive testing. Thank you so much!
Would like to know. I suffer from Celiac & CKD stg.3A.
You can do test for thyroids yourself and show it to your doctor. It is not expensive at all. For thyroid test you need to check at least 5 markers- TSH, Free T3 and Free T4 hormones, antibodies to thyroids – 2 types and Reverse T3 hormone.
There are also tests for allergies and digestive problems that may help.

I believe it is also important to note that a meat free, alcohol free lifestyle can also do wonders in eliminating inflammation from one’s body. I am now at the point where just a bit of accidental red meat in my food in the form of powdered jerky in a spice, or a tiny bit of beef mince, and I am in agony. So the answer must be that meat is inflammatory and should be avoided.
My understanding is meat that is grain fed causes inflammation as it contains omega 6’s. Grass fed and grass finished meat contains omega 3’s and this type of meat doesn’t cause inflammation..
I have Sjogren’s Syndrome, triggered by a month long episode of Shingles. My mom had Sjogren’s Syndrome that trigger Multiple Myeloma. She died from the chemo, not the cancer. It has been known for over 15 years that not one person has been cure with chemo who has Multiple Myeloma.
I find high potency of Omega 3, low carb diet, and taking supplements reduces the symptoms but not eliminate it. I heard positive results with a Carnivores diet, just not in the financial position to go 100%. I am slowly buying and freezing grass fed/finished meat to give it a try in the future.
