The jab or else: Over 580 universities demand students get an “experimental” injection to attend in-person classes
(NaturalHealth365) A concerning blow to medical freedom advocates: the U.S. Justice Department (DOJ) recently announced that organizations are not legally prohibited from implementing injection mandates, despite the fact that the COVID jabs are experimental, unapproved, and only available under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).
So the question is whether schools, employers and other entities can require the COVID shot as a condition of enrollment or employment? Because the fact is, hundreds of universities are now demanding their students to roll up their sleeves and join the worldwide drug trial if they want to pursue their education.
Get the jab or else: More than 500 American universities demand students get the COVID injection as a condition of academic enrollment
The Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act is enforced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In a section on emergency use authorization (EUA) of medical products, the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act states that individuals have the right to decline an EUA injection and be given information about the benefits and risks product.
However, in the DOJ’s interpretation, this section puts no restrictions on whether an entity can require or mandate an EUA product. And this is exactly what academic institutions are doing now.
According to the Children’s Health Defense, over 580 of America’s roughly 5,300 colleges and universities state that incoming students must be fully jabbed to attend classes in the upcoming fall semester. This includes Indiana University, which recently faced a (now dropped) lawsuit from students fighting against the upcoming mandate.
Medical and religious exemptions are in place in many institutions, but it’s yet to be seen how many of these exemptions will be honored.
These mandates are moving full steam ahead, despite a growing number of breakthrough “cases” and adverse jab reactions, including heart inflammation and pericarditis. According to the National Institutes of Health, these mandates also disregard the fact that the death rate of COVID-19 among college-aged students is exceedingly low (less than 0.1%) and that natural infection with COVID-19 confers lasting immunity (NIH).
Jab mandates are becoming the norm for school, employment – but will it end here?
The mandates imposed by schools and employers, medical freedom experts argue, flirts with tyranny:
Sure, you’re “allowed” to refuse the COVID injection. But if you do, you might get kicked off campus, forced to give up your scholarship, discriminated against in the workplace, or fired. You might be barred entry to grocery stores, restaurants, and banks. At some point, will unjabbed people not be allowed on public transportation or planes? Will they get arrested?
Where is the logical end to the normalization of these medical mandates?
And while they’re at it, if they’re going to mandate COVID injections for all students, will they go ahead and mandate yearly flu shots, too? Why wouldn’t they, after all?
It’s not out of the realm of possibility by any stretch of the imagination: indeed, the Massachusetts public school system already tried – and failed – to do last year. Stay tuned to NaturalHealth365, as we continue to monitor these COVID-related issues.
