NH365 018: Mental health expert speaks out about the dangers in our food supply

(NaturalHealth365) According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, over 61 million Americans suffer from psychiatric disorders. Mood swings, anxiety, depression plus a host of other mental disorders cost Americans over $193 billion.

Yet, most psychiatric professionals rarely recognize the root cause of all these health issues.

Today, on the NaturalHealth365 Podcast, Jonathan Landsman and Dr. Ralph Walton talk about how aspartame poisoning has gripped a nation and is causing a great deal of harm – physically, mentally and emotionally. If you know anyone suffering with autism, depression or panic attacks – share this vital information with them.

Medical health alert about aspartame poisoning and mood swings

According to Dr. Roberts:

”Every physician probably encounters aspartame disease in practice, especially among patients with illnesses that are undiagnosed or difficult to treat. This applies to ALL fields of medicine and public health. It is apparent from a partial list of reactions: headache; dizziness; depression; convulsions; impaired vision; the aggravation of diabetes mellitus and its complications; hypoglycemia; multiple allergies (including dual sensitivity to MSG); aspartame addiction; chronic fatigue; eating disorders; pediatric problems. The numerous misdiagnoses include arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease.”

Health ALERT: Did you know that aspartame is 10% methanol?

In fact, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)…

”Methanol is considered a cumulative poison due to the low rate of excretion once it is absorbed. In the body, methanol is oxidized to formaldehyde and formic acid; both of these metabolites are toxic.”

Simply put, the methanol in aspartame – which can be found in over 6,000 food products, throughout the world – turns into formaldehyde. And, formaldehyde is a deadly neurotoxin!

According to Lendon Smith, M.D., ‘there is an enormous population suffering from side effects associated with aspartame, yet have no idea why drugs, supplements and herbs don’t relieve their symptoms. Then, there are users who don’t ‘appear’ to suffer immediate reactions at all. Even these individuals are susceptible to the long-term damage caused by excitatory amino acids, phenylalanine, methanol, and DKP.’

Russell Blaylock, M.D. – an expert on the damaging effects of aspartame – once said:

“The pressure on researchers is so enormous. Dr. Trocho came out with his research about the DNA damage by aspartame. Then his career was assaulted by the makers of aspartame. He said he would never do another research project concerning aspartame. Well, a number of researchers have said the same thing. Once they published their results, the full weight of these companies come down on their head. NutraSweet will contribute millions to a university and threaten to pull their donations if someone isn’t quieted.”

The most toxic food additive on the planet gets approved without regard to scientific evidence

In April 1976, FDA Commissioner Schmidt wrote Senator Ted Kennedy, informing him of G.D. Searle’s “questionable integrity of the basic safety data submitted (by Searle) for aspartame safety.”

In October 1980, the FDA appointed Public Board of Inquiry submitted a written recommendation that NutraSweet not be approved – pending further brain tumor testing.

By May 1981, three of six FDA scientists formally advised against aspartame approval.

In July 1981, FDA Commissioner Arthur Hull Hayes, Jr. – ignoring his own scientists and their warnings about aspartame – solely approved NutraSweet (aspartame) for dry products.

Editor’s note: The history of aspartame represents one of the worst examples of government corruption and criminal behavior by public health officials. Investigate this issue for yourself and, by all means, avoid the consumption of aspartame.
