(NaturalHealth365)  It’s a bit frightening what some governments will do in the name of “public safety,” isn’t it?  For example, forced shutdowns of “non-essential” businesses (which prompts the question: what business isn’t essential when it’s helping people put food on their families’ tables?).  Taxpayer-funded and celebrity-endorsed propaganda to convince citizens to take experimental, hastily made shots.  Social isolation that has clearly driven millions of people from around the world toward despair and despondency; according to the World Health Organization (WHO), global rates of anxiety and depression increased by 25% in just the first year of the pandemic.

As we move on with our lives in the current “post-pandemic” time, we can start to see how some individuals claim that the response of some authority figures was nothing less than tyrannical during the height of COVID-19.  Some people are even making some particularly concerning criticisms regarding the response from “down under,” that is the Australian government.

Did the Australian government commit “democide” during the COVID-19 pandemic?

In an article posted to Substack on September 9, 2023, a writer posting under the name ExcessDeathsAU published the results of what they say is months of personal work investigating the federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic by the Australian government.

“Using legally obtained documents and public information,” the author writes, “it is my opinion that Australia’s middle management consolidated and strengthened during a state of emergency to reap the opportunities of a lifetime.  Essentially, those in positions of authority did not stop because they did not want to.  The [sic] behaviour on the part of government administrators is, in my opinion, both arrogant and depraved.”

The author starts off by defining for readers the term democide: “the intentional killing of an unarmed or disarmed person by government agents acting in their authoritative capacity as a result of its government’s policy, including by direct action, indifference, and neglect.”  Clearly this is a STRONG stance to take.  But the author argues that “the proof is in the excess death, illness and suffering in the population, which the Australian government is trying to bury and obfuscate.”

The author then goes on to cite a variety of pandemic mitigation measures and responses that happened in Australia over the course of the 2020-2022 pandemic, using these examples as evidence for his argument that the Australian government acted with malfeasance.  Check out these examples and consider for yourself whether they represent questionable motives:

• Reports of collusion between Twitter, Facebook, and the Australian Government “to censor, digitally corral, deplatform and target Australians”
• Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) restricts the prescription of hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19, and state-based fines are handed down to prescribing physicians
• A government-backed “Arm Yourself” vaccine media campaign targets a largely Aboriginal audience to “get the vaccine,” with the help of celebrities, sports stars, and pastors
• Extremely harsh and antagonistic words are aired from public leaders; Former Premier of Western Australia Mark McGowan has been quoted as calling Australians who decline the COVID-19 vaccine a “pack of drongos, idiots, morons, absolute cretins and I could use worse language than that”

These are just a few examples that the author cites in his extensive article, which includes numerous links and resources for your review if interested.

When and if the “next pandemic” happens, will global governments still be able to exert such massive control over citizens?

After their extensive research using a variety of official and verified documents, ExcessDeathsAU says they are left with a “terrible feeling.”

“Early treatment was denied, Australians were stranded overseas for years, people were suiciding in lockdowns and the hospital kill protocols were in place,” the author writes.  “Many of us were dragged from our homes and transportation to ‘medi-hotels’ and ‘facilities’ all over the country at gunpoint or brainwashed into thinking it was ‘for the greater good.’  Some citizens, caught on the wrong side of the rules, were [sic] doxed in the media and had their lives, businesses and families ruined.”
