Cancer TRUTHS are being censored, while the mainstream media says baldness is ‘normal’ for cancer patients

chemotherapy-has-many-toxic-side-effects(NaturalHealth365)  According to a new study, millions of new cancer patients receive chemotherapy each year, consequently damaging healthy cells, including hair follicle keratinocytes.  This damage often leads to chemotherapy-induced alopecia (CIA), causing significant hair thinning or loss in around 65% of patients.  And while baldness can symbolize strength and resilience, it shouldn’t be viewed as inevitable for cancer patients.  Yet, some organizations actually encourage well-meaning people (adults and children alike) to show their support for people with cancer by shaving their heads.

The problem is that equating cancer with toxin-induced baldness overlooks one very critical fact, namely that dangerous chemotherapy is not the only choice when treating cancer.  Nor should chemo be considered the “best” option for cancer patients.  In fact, there are natural cancer treatment and prevention options that do not take such a dangerous toll on the body.

Normalizing hair loss sends the wrong message about available cancer therapies

While raising funds for pediatric cancer research is well intentioned, a great deal of harm occurs when the public receives the message that the only way to effectively address cancer is by undergoing chemotherapy.  Groups like St. Baldrick’s Foundation and other cancer charities encourage the public to shave their heads to support children going through cancer.

The message sent to the public by these groups is that baldness is a badge of courage that every patient experiences.  One of the organizations even goes so far as to quote a supporter as stating, “Shaving my head is the most meaningful thing I’ve ever done in my life.” Fueling the fire of false perceptions, the organization goes on to say, “We’ve heard this from so many.  From the moment your hair hits the floor, to seeing the impact your fundraising makes, it’s an experience you’ll never forget.”

The problem is the only thing chemotherapy can guarantee is that the pharmaceutical companies manufacturing the drugs will continue to get wealthy.  There is no guarantee that the cancer patient will survive the onslaught of harmful toxins, there is no guarantee that cancer cell growth will be slowed or stopped, and there is certainly no guarantee that chemotherapy is going to prevent cancer from recurring even if cancerous tumor growth is slowed or reduced.  Keep in mind, chemotherapy tends to not eliminate cancer stem cells, a key component of truly overcoming a cancer diagnosis.

Not only are followers of these organizations heeding the message that baldness is a normal part of undergoing treatment for cancer, but the message is making it to mainstream and local media as well.  With these misguided organizations encouraging community groups to hold local head-shaving events as fundraisers, the publicity through local media perpetuates the perception that baldness is not a choice for cancer patients.

Follow the money: The real winners with chemotherapy are not the patients

Raising awareness about the truth behind chemotherapeutic drugs is crucial, as many don’t know they are derived from a toxic nerve gas developed for warfare purposes.  If mainstream media and family doctors were better informed about these facts, the act of shaving heads as a sign of solidarity with cancer patients may be approached differently.

The key message here is that there are nontoxic alternatives to chemotherapy available that prioritize patient well-being over the financial interests of pharmaceutical companies and, in some cases, doctors as well.  Unfortunately, many healthcare providers in Western medicine lack a comprehensive understanding of chemotherapy’s origins and the broader implications of its use.  Additionally, alternative approaches to slowing or preventing cancer growth are often overlooked, censored or dismissed.  The untold success stories of patients who have opted for natural treatments and retained their hair are rarely given the attention they deserve in mainstream media.

Nor will you see mainstream media coverage of how statistics are skewed to make chemotherapy appear more effective than it really is.  The truth about how oncologists purchase chemotherapeutic drugs at wholesale prices, then mark them up for insurance companies is also a side of the sick care system that is seldom revealed.

According to the research of economists Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner, co-authors of the best-selling Freakonomics, “Oncologists are some of the highest paid doctors, their average income is increasing faster than any other specialist in the medical field, and more than half their income comes from selling and administering chemotherapy.” This legal profiting from drugs is unique to the cancer world, where the system allows doctors to become wealthy by “treating” sick people, and pharmaceutical companies continue to come out on top.

Natural ways to prevent cancer

In addition to raising awareness about the limitations of chemotherapy and the potential harm it can cause, it’s essential to explore alternative approaches to ward off cancer.  Here are some natural strategies that can help protect against the threat of cancer and support overall well-being:

Embrace a healthy, organic diet:  Focus on consuming an organic,  nutrient-rich diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, clean sources of protein and healthy fats.  Incorporate anti-inflammatory foods, such as turmeric, ginger, and leafy greens, which have shown potential in reducing cancer risk.  Simply put, less inflammation equals a lower risk of cellular dysfunction.

Maintain a healthy weight:  Obesity has been linked to an increased risk of various types of cancer.  Engage in regular physical activity and adopt healthy lifestyle habits to maintain a healthy weight.

Limit alcohol consumption:  Excessive alcohol consumption has been associated with an increased risk of certain cancers.  Moderation is key, and it is advisable to limit alcohol intake or avoid it altogether.

Avoid tobacco and secondhand smoke:  Smoking is a leading cause of preventable cancers.  If you smoke, seek support to quit and avoid exposure to secondhand smoke.

Get adequate sunlight exposure:  Finding the right balance when it comes to sun exposure is crucial for our overall health, especially in relation to cancer risk.  While it is commonly known that excessive sun exposure can increase the risk of skin cancer, it is equally important to recognize that not getting enough sunlight can have negative repercussions and potentially elevate the risk of other types of cancer, such as breast, colorectal, and prostate cancers.

In addition, if your vitamin D levels are low, consider supplementation to correct nutritional deficiencies that will improve your immune system function.

Reduce your stress:  Chronic stress can weaken the immune system and contribute to the development of various health issues, including cancer.  Practice stress management techniques like meditation, deep breathing exercises or any activity that promotes relaxation.

Prioritize sleep:  Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep.  Sufficient sleep supports the body’s natural healing and rejuvenation processes.

Stay active:  Engage in regular physical activity, such as brisk walking, jogging, cycling, or participating in your favorite sports.  Regular exercise can help maintain a healthy weight, boost the immune system, and reduce the risk of certain cancers.

Remember, these natural approaches should complement, not replace, medical advice and treatment.  Consult with a holistic healthcare provider to create a comprehensive plan tailored to your needs and circumstances.  By adopting a proactive approach to cancer prevention and incorporating these natural strategies into your lifestyle, you can take charge of your health and well-being while minimizing the potential risks associated with toxic treatments.
