Vaccine dangers exposed: Women paralyzed by the flu shot

(NaturalHealth365) Evidence continues to pile up in support of those long wary of the flu shot, despite the continued push by a broad majority of U.S. healthcare officials. In December 2014, an official with the Centers for Disease Control admitted the current season’s flu shot was likely ineffective. Now, a young woman has come forth to tell her story of how the H1N1 flu vaccine she received in 2010 has left her disabled.

Twenty-three-year-old Sydney Rich of Oklahoma City lapsed into a coma three months after receiving the flu vaccine and has never fully recovered. Today, she is in a wheelchair and has difficulty moving the left side of her body.

Physicians trace tragedy to flu shot

Sydney’s doctors say her condition is a result of receiving the flu shot, though federal health officials are dismissive of the cause. She suffers from an autoimmune disease known as Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM). The condition has left her with lesions on her brain and spinal cord.

The young woman has hired an attorney to take her case to the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, which was established to reimburse victims injured or otherwise harmed by vaccines. Since 1989, a mere 4,022 people have successfully proven claims and were awarded money.

Since it is not possible to bring legal action against pharmaceutical companies, victims are left with little recourse other than to take action through the program’s process, despite the unlikelihood of success. Just $2.9 billion in compensation has been paid out through the program to date, with 9,882 claims having been dismissed.

Why the flu shot should be avoided – at all costs

The experience of this young woman is, sadly, only the tip of the iceberg. You need not dig too deep to learn some very frightening facts about the influenza vaccine that is aggressively pushed on the public every year, once the first signs of autumn appear. For example, the flu vaccine contains many ingredients that are dangerous, with some known to be potentially carcinogenic, including aluminum salts, mercury, aborted fetal tissue, the antibiotic neomycin and formaldehyde.

The flu vaccine is the suspected culprit behind cases of a number of ills, from Alzheimer’s disease to narcolepsy.

Although the flu shot does not discriminate when dishing out its harmful effects, it’s well-known that the very young and the elderly are at particular risk. That’s because the immune systems of these population groups are already compromised. At the same time, research shows these groups are not reaping ay benefits by way of reduced incidence of the flu despite increases in vaccinations.

What are the safer alternatives to defeating the flu?

Clearly, exposing your health to the dangers of the flu vaccine is not the answer to avoiding the flu and safeguarding health. But there are a number of things you can do to reduce your flu risk without introducing harmful toxins into your body. Here are four steps to take:

1. Capitalize on the proven, natural healing powers of vitamin C, particularly a form known as ‘Lypo-Spheric’ vitamin C.

2. Get adequate levels of vitamin D, which scientific studies show that the benefits of vitamin D can include its ability to reduce the incidence of flu by as much as 50 percent.

3. Pay attention to your diet. Avoid processed, sugary foods in favor of whole, natural and organic foods containing lots of antioxidants.

4. In addition to eating right, avoid situations that compromise your immunity by getting plenty of rest, exercising regularly and avoiding environments likely to compromise immunity or increase exposure to disease-causing organisms.
